Personalised Group Sessions

Our Personalised classes are a really great way to benefit from Personal Training at a fraction of the cost. If you enjoy the motivation of people around you or you don’t have the budget for one to one training but feel you would benefit from the personal approach, this is the perfect solution.

We keep our classes small and personal, this allows us to create the perfect blend of exercises for each individual allowing us to modify and give you options if you need them. We provide you with a health screening form before starting the classes so we have an understanding of your exercise history, goals, any medical conditions. These will be reviewed carefully before you join a class, if necessary we will suggest a one to one session prior to joining a group to ensure you get the most you can from the group.

We keep each class varied and fresh so you never get bored, our classes are small and our team is specialised in tailoring exercises too suit all levels and health conditions allowing our classes to be suitable for everyone, including pregnancy, we will adjust positioning and pace where necessary.

We pride ourselves in ensuring each of you joining our classes feels comfortable, safe and supported throughout or if you are one of those people who likes a push, we can certainly do that as well. Don’t worry we will very quickly work out which one you are.

Alongside our extensive knowledge and experience working with mums we also have teamed up with our in-house Woman’s Health Physio if we need to draw on additional knowledge. It’s our ultimate passion creating an enjoyable supportive exercise experience for those that need it most and motherhood is one of those times.

We will happily cuddle your new born baby, chat to your toddler and hand out snacks when needed, all while teaching your class. The Little Fitness range of classes is probably our most rewarding to teach but also unique for you; you will not find a more personal, caring, supportive environment like it anywhere else.

Personalised Class Experiences Available

Spin HiiT

A fast paced low impact cardio and resistance session, a ‘signature’ Fitness Academy class alternating bursts on the spin bike with body weight or kettlebell exercise. Each class is different, variety is the space of life to keep you on your toes! Suitable throughout pregnancy and we run as a ‘Little Fitness’ class so you can bring babies and toddlers along too.

Pilates

A wonderful all round pilates class for all abilities, a perfect blend of strengthening, lengthening and mobilising exercises to keep you stable, strong, flexible and balanced in both body and mind. We incorporate the use of Swiss Balls, Pilates Balls, resistance bands and tennis balls to keep the classes varied. We place a strong emphasis on education of the basic pilates principles and simple movements executed well to give you optimum benefits. Our classes flow gently, along side calming music to create an uplifting and beneficial experience for everyone. Suitable throughout pregnancy and we run as a ‘Little Fitness’ class you can bring your babies along too.

Yoga

A blend of strength, flexibility, mobility and grounding. Our Fitness Academy Yoga experience is a blissful experience. Simple yoga poses, both static and dynamic to strength, lengthen and release built up tension within the muscles combined with breathing and relaxation exercises makes this class a really important restorative hour in anyone’s life. Let tension and stress melt away and leave your body feeling lighter, balanced and more easy than when you started. EVERYONE needs to do this class, again we modify positions as necessary to make it accessible for everyone.

Outdoor Circuits

A class if you like variety, we mix up the exercises each class giving you a blend of full body resistance, cardio and core moves with a variety of equipment. Enjoy being outdoors in the fresh air with beautiful scenery while we take you through your paces. Suitable for all levels of fitness, we can adapt exercises easily with this set up and you can work at your own pace. A great class if you don’t like sitting on a spin bike and do like the outdoors.
